And within 30 seconds of driving I felt the difference from the Ziex 912.
The ride is noticably smoother. The 912 it turns out has a higher load rating, so it is a stiffer riding tire. The 512 is the proper load for the allroad. It appears to have a bettter footprint and it simply rides better. My own experieince is they do handle NYC Snow better, but its 50 degrees out so.
The 912 tires are going out UPS this week, back to Discount Tire Direct as they did offer a full refund of these.. And yes I have had them since August and put over 10K miles on them.
They want a happy customer..they got one.

I should have them next week. Had the 912s for about 10 weeks, did 6,000Km on them and used 1/32 tread. I really hope the 512s are better.
