Default Just sat in the new Chrysler Pacifica...

Looks like they may have gotten this one right...Just a little too much plastic around the radio for my taste. Sticker was $38k with everything but Nav (which is supposed to be an awesome in-dash LCD map display). Dealer asking $5500 over sticker as a "market demand surcharge".

That's darn near as expensive as an allroad - where's the value?

Default What about that fugging awful steering wheel?!?!? It looks like the head...

of that kid from that cartoon, "Family Guy"...freaking terrible!

IMO, the outside of the Pacifica looks like it came out of a rhino's a*s...and the interior will show it's cheapness within months of ownership...this thing is a brutal POS...just like all other Chrysler products.

Default I think it is a very attractive vehicle...

It has a very similar look to current Audi's and much more attractive, at least in the front than recent Audi show efforts. Unfortunately it is just too big for me. I think it is 10 inches longer than the allroad as it is based on the minivan platform. I am surprised about the dealer gouging. Apparently this and the Crossfire are make it or break it vehicles for Chrysler to move back into a higher market segment. Initial dealer overpricing may kill the popularity before it even has a chance.

Default Very serious...

Look at the lines objectively and forget it is domestic. There are definite styling cues from Audi Avants say model year 2001. This vehicle and the Crossfire are the first vehicles that Mercedes people have had real input on and it does show. Styling, however is very subjective. Personally, I think Audis have gone down in looks since 2001 and I think the Pikes Peak and Nuvolari are down right Aztek ugly; at least in the front. But, as I said styling is very subjective. What one person likes, another hates. A co-worker recently got a Z4. He thinks it is the most beautiful car he has ever seen. I cringe every time I walk past it and wonder how BMW could have gone from the beautiful Z3 to that.
