Default Looking for Upper B-Pillar trim removal instructions and illustration

I have to remove my b-pillar trim to fix the seatbelt height adjustment control. If someone has instructions and or an illustration they can post I would appreciate it.

Default You must remove the A- and C/D-pillars to remove the upper B-pillar...

Here is a good link with pics for A-pillar removal. I've never removed the C/D pillar trim from an Avant/allroad, so I am not sure, but you can probably just remove the torx bolts securing the grab handle and the torx bolt under the coat hanger and loosen the C/D pillar enough to get at the B-pillar.

Once those are out of the way, there are two torx bolts (different sizes) taht secure the top of the B-pillar, hidden under the side curtain airbag. You can easily get at the bolts if you remove a few bolts for the side curtain airbag.

Of course, if you need to remove the panel from the car, you also have to remove the lower plastic trim to get at the lower seatbelt bolt, adn thread the seatbelt through the slot in the B-pillar trim. Intructions on how to remove that lower trim can be seen here.

Hope this helps.
