Loose Window?? Opinions Please!!

My 02 ar has about 1k miles and ever since I got it I've noticed this rattle on large bumps that sounds vaguely like when a drivers door is partially open. After really knocking around I figured out that it is the window frame that seems loose on all 4 doors.
If you push quickly but firmly on any door window near the top you can visibly see the frame move a good 1/4". Doing it a few times quickly causes the rattling I'm hearing on bumps. The door is solid but the frame seems purposely loose.
Does anyone else have this? I can't see how this would be a lapse in build - it seems planned but why would you plan to make a car sound like a pinto on bumps? Help! Any advice?

I have the same issue. When going over large bump's I get a rattle . it seems as if the window does not seal properly or tightly enough around the weather strip. It sounds as if the window isn't sealing tight enough in the gasket and rubbing against the rubber. Any "fixes"?
