I have been tracking mileage lately and I was getting 17.5 average around town (apr/premium), but the last two fills have fallen to 16.3. Too little to mean anything? No codes showing, car is at 48k miles, all dealer service.
Only known issue is seeping valve covers.
I usually drive adult-like, but will blast occasionally.

The only changes I note are when the season changes and the fuel additives are added. Then I see the drop, at least I used to. If your tire pressure is too low on several tires it will reduce mileage.

I don't know where you live but around here (Maine) they just passed a methonal law (adding 10% methanol) and everyone's fuel economy has dropped at least 1 mpg. I don't want to even touch that issue right now, but I can tell you that it has made a noticalbe difference on the three cars that I regularly drive.
