Default Major Failure on Allroad: turbo, engine

My Allroad ( 2,7 T ´00 ) was completly dry of oil yesterday, I drove a 4 h drive yesterday in cold weather condition.

During my ride a noticed that the car showed signs to get frozen, engine did not run properly, and the car begun to smoke a lot.

At the sametime the warning sign for motorelectronic showed.

I stopped the car, and I beign checking car and noticed that the engine was dry on oil??

Nothing has showed any kind of warning that there was low oil

I filled up with new oil, and continued to drive after consulting Audi servicde hotline. and also noticed that I had no turbo power.

The engine is sounding and behaving like a diesel engine.

What is wrong?

Has anyone experienced the same thing?

Default Re: I would be worried about how i lost all my oil, then get towed to the dealer..

Your engine is cooked....I can't beleive they told you to keep driving...that was stupid on their part.....I hope you are still under warranty and if not the pinheads who told you to keep driving should be liable...

Default How often do you check your oil? Some 2.7 Ts have been known to use a qt/1000.

If you haven't been checking - do so, and if you have you should see leakage. Get to the dealer.
