Default Misfiring Help.

MIL light came on (not blinking). Vag-com DTCs indicate multiple misfires (cylinders 1, 2, 3, 6). Since both banks are involved, I'm guessing it is not the coil packs or spark plugs (less than 7k miles on them). Could it be the ignitor amps/Power Stage Output Modules that sit atop the air box? Thanks

Default Probably not, unless they are both failing at the exact same time.

Swith the plugs between the 2 and see if you get missfires on 4, 5, 6, and 3. If this is the case. you probably have 2 faulty ICM's (Ignition Control Modules...these sit on top of the air box)

Update on misfire: Cylinder 5 exhibits the majority of misfires, exceeding 15 within a cycle of measuring block 016. However, it doesn't appear to be electrical related problem. Swapped out 2 ignition modules -- no effect. Swapped cylinder 5 & 6 CPs -- no effect. Swapped out cylinder 5 & 6 spark plugs -- no effect. Next step fuel injectors. Any other suggestions.
