I'm shopping (well, drooling, wishing, and hoping) for an allroad. I am looking at 01 through 03 used allroads in my area and this one popped up and looked pretty good.

Its reall hard to compare canadian and usa used car prices, but this one seems like a decent deal to me.

This listing shows it has a 6 speed tip, did earlier allroads have a 5 speed tip? Whats the 70 mph cruise RPM for a 6 speed tip in a 2003 2.7T ?

Does 2003 have a heated steering wheel?

Must be a mistake...
Tip comes only with 5 speeds and RPM is 3000@70MPH. Tip changed in 2002 from a PRND432 to a PRNDS (S for sport) configuration. Do not know which is best, but appreciate the possibity to be locked in 2 on offroad...
Do not know about heated steering wheel on 2003 canadian allroads but I have it on mine and like it !

'03 there was no more heated steering wheel and both rear fogs work. '04 sat radio available, shark fin antennae, and 4.2 engine available (with heated steering wheel). '05 deleted onstar, deleted reflective triangle in tail hatch, made dvd based nav available.

'02 or '03 got rid of wood shifter handle. I think '03 is when they went to more "plasticy" rear cargo cover.

I noticed it wasn't on the '01 list, but my '01 came with the multifunction steering wheel with tip controls and the winter pack added a heated steering wheel.

I know they brought back the summer pack with solar sunroof on the 4.2, but I can't remember what year they got rid of it in the 2.7.
