Default Momo pedal

I bought a set of Momo brushed alum pedals to install and removed the plastic cover on the ar pedals and found them to be one piece with no pre-drilled holes. Gotta got get a metal bit now. Nothing is easy.

Default Re: Momo pedal Update

OK. cool pedals but not worth the 4 hours it will take to drill through the stock metal. The stock metal is webbed in back where it attaches to the shaft. Not a priority, so I may put them on ebay. Did learn a trick though, to get the plastic pedal covers back on, heat them in almost boiling water so they are pliable, otherwise forget it.

Default it's worth the effort....really not that big a deal....

I have omp pedals and it makes heel and toeing so much more natural.

Default Re; how did you get through the metal pedal and avoid the welded webbing on the back?

Carbide bits?

Default just used whatever bits I had......don't think they're anything special.....

as I recall it was a bit of a pain getting the nuts tightened down with the webbing back there......but I did it and it didn't take me that long and I'm not all that clever and my pedals are cooler than yours......;-)
