We're off for sunny southeastern Iowa tomorrow for a two day trip to old family areas (my younger daughter was too young to remember them well), a stay in a relaxing bed and breakfast, antique and other shopping and just generally "getting away from it all" for a short while.
allroad is gased up, tires the proper inflation, within spec on oil changes, washer reservoir filled, tools and such in the back...now just pray she doesn't need an Audi mechanic or I'll be calling QCRAZY or have to stop at the dealer that is only marginally better than mine. So will you all behave for two days while I'm gone? Please promise and be sure to lie, as I love it

wife has relatives in south east Iowa. been a couple years since we have been down to see them.

also suggest doing the boat rental and cruising around lake rathbun for a couple hours.

Register's (Des Moines Newspaper) Annual Great Bike Ride Across Iowa...lots of fun from what I hear...many friends and colleagues who go...it's like a party on wheels with wheels
