My 2013 allroad (A4) gas mileage

Well, after about a week of short drives to work, city driving, traffic, a 40mile pure highway trip, I just just filled up with a total of 306 miles for a whopping 22.28mpg (13.74 gallons).
Last night I had fun showing it off to some friends, so the very sprited driving probably didnt help much either.

Sadly, the computer MPG reading on the car and on the App is not the same as Actual MPG. You need to determine the mileage range on a full tank of gas. Did you recall the actual miles you have driven before refueling.
When I fill my car to full tank, I reset the trip meter to 0.00 - then when my gas tank becomes empty (warning light comes up), I see how many miles I've driven. And then see how much gas I've used up when I refill to full tank again.
So, lets say I covered 360 miles on a full tank of gas and then my gas warning light comes up. I then refill, see how many gallons to full again (let's say 15 gallons to full). Then, 360 miles/15 gallons = 24 MPG . This is actual MPG.
Sure, you can get up to 60 MPG computer reading when you are cruising downhill, but it's not accurate.

So I have filled up the tank 3 times since purchasing and have 979 miles on the odometer.
I have been using an app on my phone to record the mileage along with the cars trip computer.
I have averaged 25 mpg. The car's trip computer says 26mpg since the last tank, but my app says 25.26. So it seems a bit "off".
The best so far was an 84 mile 95% highway trip where the trip computer said I got 32.6mpg. It's been chilly recently so not much AC usage. For the first 600 miles I have been keeping the revs high on hills but not over 5krpm during break-in. Since then I have liberally reached red line in some light-load accelerations. But I dont mean this to be a break-in thread. Its Scuba Blue Metallic with Chestnut Brown and Ash. heres a link to it: https://picasaweb.google.com/1147342...eat=directlink
So for all of you new (A4) allroad owners, what kind of MPG are you getting?

I mentioned both the vehicle and calculated mpg's in post.
I'm both an engineer and a pilot. I'm very familiar with calculating fuel burn.
