Nicely written, thank you. (I consider myself lucky that I haven't had all those issues,...yet)

Default Re: Good write up...another brake option for 2002 mid-year +

HP2 calipers are cost effective and provide more options for aftermarket pads.

Default Very well writen.

Now for the other side from an OAO (Old allroad owner)

My experance with my 2002 (now at 175k) is a bit differend.

Only real problems:

1. Brake wabble (over the first two years, no probles since.

2. Front air springs (160k) normal wear an tear but I have a Range Rover Mk3 that has 130k now and was having front bag problems, but they stoped when the allroads was fixed (monkey see)

3. Replace TB at 140k, still looked good, even though it had cut thru the plastic gard at some time.

4. We have run 18s amost from day one, and over the last 3 seasons have found that Michlins Alpins (Snow/Ice tire) work all year long (not the greatest curvy dry road tire for sure, but not bad ether) but have been giving back 20+k, and are changed out for new in the fall each year.

5. H-Sports are a must have...I was one of the first with them (black bars), have never been a problem. I mounted them on a lift, and have the rear bar in the mid setting.

Now that I have prasied my car so much it's going to blow something.

It's a tip too.
