Default need advice on my warranty options

here's my deal
04 6mt with 80k on it. just did complete timing belt, valve cover gaskets etc, plugs, new front airsprings, new clutch, brakes all around, aux water pump , blah blah blah

my cpo runs out in sep 8 months from now. Bruce M couldn't help me out due to the miles... darn

I can extend my warranty through Audi like this: powertrain for about $3200 (covers turbos)
or bump it up to the "silver" which adds steering, brakes, A/C, front suspension, and electrical for about $4100
but that will only add 24 months coverage and I must purchase within 5000 miles.

should I buy an extended or just let the cpo run out and hope for the best? stock turbos scare me. chipped with piggies

please advise my allroad friends

Thank you everyone!

$3000-$4000 buys a lot of repairs over the course of two years. I opted not to get a warranty when I bought my '04 with 40k miles last year. I'm willing to take the risk and pay for stuff when it happens, rather than pay a lot up front and not use it.

My ar just hit 94K and it was time to re-up on the warranty. I got the silver and paid about one fourth less than what you were quoted by your dealer. I would shop around all the Audi dealers in the tri state area and see who can bring it down to about $3K with a low deductable and free loaners.

And believe me, it pays for itself and then some.

I am in the similar situation now. Wonder if you bought the extended warranty, and was it worth it? Thanks.
