Default Just did another run after cleaning and values never get higher than

180. Just for kicks going to replace the air filter to see if that makes a difference. The one in the isn't that old but who knows. Much cheaper than a MAF..

Default Try propane or a spritz of carb cleaner around all joints and hoses before jumping there

try to keep whatever you use from around the airbox or the snorkel.

Default Will do, will also do a pressure test. Question does the actual MAF

reading come from the MAF or down stream at the throttle body?

Default

??? MAF reading is the airflow through the sensor.

Your MAF is deader than a door nail unless you stuck your engine in a mud bog recently!!

Default Don't bother....if you had a major leak...

....the intake wouldn't build boost so your MAP values would be low too.

Default That's funny.....I've ran plenty of 2.7T's w/o a MAF.

On a related note, the only thing I've ever really accomplished cleaning a MAF is wasting 30 minutes of my life.

Default Just pressure tested and there is a pretty good leak. Of course

its not in one of the usually places. The leak is on the RH side, could be intercooler, intercooler hose, wastegate actuator line, or turbo pressure balance line. It will be interesting to see if I have 2 issues or just a leak.. Will post later..
