Default Need help with a part number....

So I figured the Bently manual DVD would be complete enough to include part numbers, but no such luck. Anyone know what the PN's are for #8 and #9 in the diagram above?

They are described as:
8 - Push-button switch for trunk lid
9 - Push-button switch for interior monitoring

Go to parts.com there you might find the item by description and then the website has a PN finder by description.

Default diagram from parts catalog

Here's the best diagram I can find. I still don't see these switches even mentioned in the parts list.

Should be somewhere on #13 I would think.

Default ah yes, took some digging....

for the archives and search...apparently it's not a switch, but rather a "button"

4B0959831A B98 "button for electrically operated flap - lock"
4B0962109A 5PR simply labeled "press button"

Thanks!

Default Its the interior alarm sensor, I believe the 01 & 02 AR's have them, My 02 has this option

If you have the windows down and the alarm on,and If someone reaches in the window the alarm will activate.

Default yes. and it can be annoying since a stiff breeze or heat escaping from the cabin to the outside

can set it off. so this button can be used to deactivate it.
