Default there is a simple way...

the air intake for the compressor is behind the fender liner of the driver's side rear tire.

Get some air tool oil from home depot and squirt it into the intake. If you can do it while the car is raising, all the better.

Paulroad,

Got the air tool oil sitting on the bench at home. I'll take a look tonight.

How much, how often are you doing this? Also, anything special with the intake to the compressor? Will it obviously be the intake, or is it a needle in a haystack?

Thanks,

Travis

Default its very obvious..

you will see the vent in the fender. I have not done it yet. You may alos find that simply cleaning the intake vent will help.

Default I have done it and it helped out a lot. I put a zip tie (loosly) on the hose

so it didn't fall out of the rear access area. This allowed me to start the car and raise it while squirting a little (2 squirts from oil can) air tool oil in there.

kingfishgrapejam posted recently some concerns about this having to do with a silica bead. I agree this is an unknown. Has anyone been doing the airtool oil trick through the intake for a long time without any issues?
