Default Need Rim Recommendations

The Allroad offset is very odd. Very few manufacturers seem to make rims for this car. I don't feel comfortable (maybe I'm not justified in feeling this way) putting spacers on my car but I would like to put 19" on my 2001 Allroad for the summer. I would appreciate any recommendations.
Thanks
-James

Default Lots of choices- don't be uncomfortable with spacers...BBS provides them with their wheels...

Good quality hubcentric spacers are fine as long as you get the right spacer, with the correct fit (offset). Otherwise you won't have much choice in wheel selections.

I have a set of 18" BBS wheels for my allroad. If you look up the BBS fitment guide, it shows the BBS RX as available for the ar, with a 20mm offset. Well the wheel itself is a 32mm offset- BBS supplies their own 12mm spacer set complete with new bolts. So frankly if BBS sees is OK with spacers, then I'm OK with spacers.

Just make sure you get good ones- H&R is tops- along with the correct length and shape of bolt.

Default One last question

Thank you for your advice, just one last question. Is it possible to put 19" on an allroad?

Default 19's should work fine

I've got 18x8's with 245/45-18 tires. The rims are ET35 with 15 mm H&R spacers. Getting longer bolts was a slight hassle, but FK had them in the correct length and seat style. No problemo. 245/40-19's are almost the same size, according to the Bridgestone size and spec chart for S-03's. They do spec the 19's on 8.5" rims, though. I guess I'd ask if anyone was running 19's or 8.5 width or both, but it should work fine.

Default Click on Achtuning.... They are are part of the Audiworld Family
