all over again. I haven't scanned yet. I will when I get home. I was wondering if anyone has had and solved this problem in the past.

I ordered a new key today and a new door lock (broken micro switch) After I get the lock on and the new key programmed (along with old) I will be able to eliminate the key and the faulty door lock.

Possibly, but more likely they were seperate issues, have you played around with the lock on the rear hatch though they can be kind of temperamental.

I'll mess around with it. I'm am going to go home and get on the computer running XP so I can load the Bentley and check the wiring diagram.

My microswitch on the drivers side is bad so I have a new lock on the way and a new key as well to see if the key was the issue.

Sure enough the button works. Hmmm. I guess it is just the key issue.
