Sounds like you had a productive night!

I'm afraid to go out and see if I 'made it' overnight on L2. Going to wait for the sun to come up before checking, and hopefully being able to declare the repair a success.

Edit: Sun is up, and so is the front end. Going to have to clean her up this AM and take her for a nice backroad romp in this awesome fall weather to celebrate.

for that price i would go with the new conversion kit. it will come with special hardware, clips etc. then you'll know the stuff you buy will fit.

I think I am going to be buying the Arnott Gen 1's for my 05 Allroad shortly - having same issues. I live up in Redding CT - can I ask where you had your Audi serviced? I usually only go to the Audi dealer. thanks
