Noticed that the thin "rubbery" coating on my inside door handle has started to peel...
Anyone experienced this and is it a warranty item? Its actually peeling around the window switches as well which makes me think its not normal wear and tear from closing the door.
I can see it start to bubble up where its about to peel...

I had the same problem
and the only item that was not covered under waranty were the grab handles. The window switches and all other switches were replaced under waranty. For some reason AOA does not replace wear and tear items, which the grab handle is considered.
Some here have had luck replacing the grab handles, though I think it is hit and miss with which dealer you go to.

I had both drivers and passengers door
grab handles replaced under warranty. Both had peeled the soft finish off. No problem. They actually replace the complete door panel for the grab handle, as it is part of the panel and not a seperate piece. I was wondering about the radio/heater controls etc. how they would treat those areas.

Funny this should come up today
Just made an appt to have the entire panel replaced, new parts are sitting at the dealer. Hit or miss whether some dealers will cover, mine is going to.
Only thing free at the dealer, though.
Good luck.

Pretty soon you'll notice the volume **** on SymphonyII radio not working right...
That was my other peave from last year.
The volume **** spins through about 40-50 degrees of rotation without ratcheting the volume up or down. Dealer can't open the radio to replace the ****. Dealer said the best they would do is put in a factory remanufactured radio from their box in the back room. Would not put in a new one.
Go Sox!!!
