Laggy

2014 Allroad Premium Plus with 18" wheel and 245/45/18 tire.
I come from the off-road world and I understand the limitations of the Allroad, but I want a more durable tire off-road (eg. resistant to punctures, stiffer sidewall).
Thinking that going down to a 17" wheel buys me more sidewall and gets me a smaller OD tire.
Looking at Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015, 225/60/17.
0.9 more diameter.
