Just catched it on TV; again, the Jeep vs. the TT vs. the BMW, at this time a 1/4 mile, with running times on the screen.
Well done Daimler-Chrysler, next Time we are looking for an AirBus vs. a Submarine.....where is my MAD magazine....?

its just a cropped image.
When I get bored I make sigs if I've got pics laying around.
I figured that pic was considerably more dynamic looking than your current one... also a bit more seasonal.
very welcome

4.0L I6 manual gearbox 4x4 cherokee.
I drove it like I hated it because that was the only way to drive it. I never washed it, I'd drive it through stuff that I knew would scratch the "paint" if you will. Seats were horrible, brakes were crap... in general it was a rolling heap that was acceptable for off road use. Only good thing about it on-road, it was quicker in 2wd than most hondas since it churned like 240lb ft of torque and with a manual gearbox it was a hoot to drive (oversteer happy)

.. this sounds like psycho terror on wheels, but the Fiat Chroma 2.0 wasn't much better, 50 new rust particles developed every 100KM...and be aware of rain, coming through the underbody...;-)

they didnt work all the time.
nor did the brake lights.
the rear axle (dana POS) made whale mating sounds sometimes.
I actually borrowed the Jeep for a year from an uncle. Just kept it with me up at Univ in RI. Father said I wasnt to have my G20/nissan primera at school... so I bypassed his authority. Back then I had some low standards for automobiles... After the jeep I had the 944 which was the worst idea I've ever had... but I loved the car to the every end when I sold it to keep the A4.
my audi has been with me longer than any other car I've ever owned/ or had in my posession.
First car I asked for... Alfa GT-V6 2.5 circa early 80's in silver. Local mechanic was into the italian cars and I thought the body style was really cool back then. I like Alfa styling, but there is no way I could ever put down Audi, I have so much time/effort into this one marque it would be foolish to change now.
