I get small oil spots on the garage floor every other day or so. The first time I took it into the dealer, they said there was no oil leak after keeping it 2 days. I then collected the oil in a cloth to show them, yes it was leaking and searched the engine myself to find it coming from the rear. It was dripping right throught that litle center air vent at the back of the underengine cover so none was collecting on the pan. Anyway, I went back to the dealer with the oil in the cloth and drawings of where the oil was leaking. This time they agreed the rear seal was bad. It is just a small leak, so it is scheduled to be repaired at my next service (I change oil every 3000 miles, so it is not that far away).

the upper pan seal, camshaft position sensor seal, valve covers, etc.
Do a search using "Hal S4 oil" in the AW search engine to read the saga about how a bad diagnosis eventually lead to a replaced car.
