Need thoughts on my AR. One owner dealer serviced with nothing unusual in first 32k history. Since 32k it has had the following:
new TC
tire pressure module
New transmission
two front airbags
prop seal
tbb
cam shaft seal
valve cover leak
turbo line leak
all bushings replaced (twice!)
Lots of lamination failure issues in the interior.
As I hit 52K I wonder what to do and how long she will last.
Are things fixed or should I expect more troubles (worry about the turbos next).
Thanks
Michael

I've had mine for less than 4 months:
Brakes (and discs) - $1100 (normal maintenance - but 4x the price of a 'normal' because its an Audi)
Rocket Gasket - $460 (wrong fix for smokey turbo problem)
Cam seal - $1200+ [right fix (I hope) for above]
Front Bags - $1000+
This is one expensive car! My wife thinks it was a bad idea to buy the allroad, she is right.

What year AR do you have. 01 to early 04s had bad Torque Converters. No recall but a service Bulletin was issued.
TSB Number:320501 NHTSA Number:10017650 TSB Date:October 25, 2005 Date Added to File:November 14, 2005
Failing Component:
Power Train
Summary:
MIL illuminated, DTC 17125 stored in transmission fault memory-no driveability concern. Torque converter clutch circuit performance or stuck off stored in transmission fault memory.

noting seems out of the ordinary for an allroad. Certainly not a lemon, I've had most everything you wrote about in my first 3 years of driving including complete turbo replacement.(manual tranny for me)
The interior lamination is a known factor throughout the entire 2000-2005 audi line and not unique to the ar. Some dealer replace parts under warranty, some did not.
Some techs will tell you to remove the engine covers (plastic parts) as these retain heat. In FL that's the last thing you need. Excess heat retention can dry out seals an gaskets before their time.
