Default Paging allroad2001 or anyone who may have an original outer CV joint laying around

I am still having a problem with ESP engaging during WOT, full boost conditions in 3rd and 4th gear. I have checked the sensors and they are intact, clean, and mounted flush. The only thing I can think of is that the tone rings are out of spec on the new axles I got from Raxles. I would like to compare detailed info like number of teeth, spacing, overall diameter, etc.

Does anyone have a joint/axle handy that could take some measurments?

This is the only comparison I have right now:

Default Sam is right...you need to re-zero with the VAG your steering sensor..

This happened on the GTI after the coil overs were installed. Its a 5 minute process and on the Ross-Tech site.

Default I'm really sorry Ryan, the old joint has been trashed already. But here is something that I've had

on file, not sure how much of a help that is:
A6 front CV joint M16x1.5 has 45 teeth on the ABS ring, Part number 85212, identical with the allroad part number as I found on different websites.

This is also applicable for the early A6 2.8, the A4 and A8, all the same.

Default I Checked. It was dead on even after repeated steering sequences. I did re-zero it though for good

measure. No difference.

Do you have access to an oscilloscope? I would scope the fronts and compare the signal to the rears.

http://sjmautotechnik.com/trouble_shooting/brake.html</a

Default It's really a shame I can't just log the measuring blocks for individual wheel speed with VAG-COM

The blocks are there, but it won't let you log while moving.

Thanks for the links. I guess I might have to get more creative as you suggest.

I wonder also if there is any possibility that a slightly slipping clutch could be causing this.
