Painted Audi Allroad 2 piece stockers
I was asking bout this a while back and have now finished sprucing up these old wheels to use as my Audi S8 Winter Wheels:
Ignore the fact the car is jacked up still and the slime on the tyre wall.
I didnt go with the earlier proposed Silver on the outside as I was concerned it would look like a plastic hub cap on black steel wheels. This inverted scheme has a nice mix of being dark but not looking like a void of blackness (as the silver edge and inner come through real nice). Wheel bolts (bitch to remove) where not changed in colour, just cleaned. Wheel colours are Gloss Black and Audi Alu Silver. I removed the Audi logo from the center cap and added it back when paint dried.
"Inner Spoke" (ie base wheel) stock paint is quite poor quality, most exposed areas bubbled up and fell off when touched.
Im very happy with how they came out, I despised the stock AR wheels as supplied (I used to have an AR, hence still had the wheels sitting in my garden).
PS: Also its cool to have a rare wheel like this, no one outside of the AR group should be able to identify them..
