Penetrating Oil That's Safe for O2 Sensors?

Gurus,
I'm in the midst of my piggie pipe / RS6 exhaust swap. We're moving slow, but making progress. I think this qualifies as one of the tightest engine compartments I've worked in in quite a while.
One quick question: Is there a penetrating oil out there that's safe for O2 sensors? Last I checked, WD-40 was deadly, and I'm afraid to use my trusty Silikroil on them. My O2 sensors are in really tight (tighter than previous sensors I've had to replace on other VW/Audi products...), and I'm hoping I can find something that will help ease their healthy extraction.
Any and all suggestions welcome (including random top tips to speed our progress...).
TIA

While I have not used it on my Allroad, I have used it without any problems on other O2 sensors that were Bosch. I have not heard that WD-40 was bad. I guess if you actually got it soaked? I thought WD-40 was basically kerosine.

the increase in gas mileag will pay for them, and there is no oil that is safe, any contamination of the element will reduce their responce or kill them.

Car has only ~42k on it, so I just needed a tad more torque. Sensors came out cleanly with no thread damage.
