I need a spare hood to play around with, can be old or scratched or even Highland green :-)

Not sure if any of the A6 would fit......any ideas?
ETKA doesn't give the number to search for only a full body shell.

Sorry Girlroad....couldn't resist ;-)

Default I don't know for sure, the AR extends the front end just a bit

I know the headlights pop out a bit further than the standard A6 units...but the hood from an A6 may still work. Maybe you could find someone with an A6 hood that would let you test-fit it?

Default Nope, bumper cover is different, fenders are different, and don't interchange.

Headlights will with some fiddling. Hoods are the same, and grills interchange as well.

Default From the parts list file in our allroad FAQ site, It seems that there is no allroad specific hood.

Default Thanks guys, will search for a used A6 hood and see if and how it will fit.

Time to get the air intake and air exhaust mods going ;-)

Why not just take off the rubber strip upon the firewall?

Default That is long gone, but she's still getting a bit hot when pushed a little, and the parts

for this mod are already sorted and purchased.
This is like asking me to stop modding ;-)

Not asking to stop modding. Just try to make thing efficiently and to make sure it works.
