Default pittsburgh, pa - need independent mechanic

i have a 2003 allroad 2.7t - can someone in the pittsburgh area recommend a trusted independent mechanic for the allroad?

love the car - has only 55k miles and would like to keep a little longer if I can find a reasonable mechanic.

thanks,
Kris

I'm also in Pittsburgh and have yet to find any well recommended shop in the area. I do some work myself, and am really picky when it comes to who works on my car. I am actually taking my car to a shop in Buffalo NY tomorrow since I have a list of items to be addressed that I can't or don't feel like doing myself.

The only places I have taken my car are Sewickly Audi for coil pack recall and Blue Wave Auto for inspections and detailing work.

Places that I have heard recommended by some people, but I have never used myself are:
C&G Performance (near Sewickely)
German Motor Werks (Strip District)
Pete's Eurotech (Coropolis)
Foreign-Traffic (Allison Park)

This shop is a long haul from Pittsburgh but the owner is serious allroad aficionado. He presently posts on the other forum as.... Ex-PzKW Cdr

T&D Auto Service
7805 Montgomery Ave
Elkins Park PA 19027
215 782 3150

^ Yeah that is pretty far away, Buffalo NY is actually much closer. I am taking my car to Black Forest Motorsport which is the shop belonging to bracketracer from quattroworld, who is another allroad enthusiast.

It is on McKnight near 279. I wouldn't go there for any mechanical work, but for easy things like inspections and detail stuff they are decent and reasonably priced.
