Im new to the audi family and i knew that repairs and service costs would be high. however i had no idea that it would cost 2500 to simply replace the air suspension for the front wheels and 700 for front brake pads. this was quoted to me at the dealership and ive owned my allroad for less than a year. im fairly handly in the shop...should i attempt to do these repairs on my own, or perhaps take it to another foreign shop?

They don't make enough money selling cars. All the can do is charge too much for service.
Brakes can be done at any service station. Just buy a stock brake kit from any pn line seller. The suspention is 299.00 per corner for the part plus 1.5 hours of labor at most any independant repair shop. just ask for a suggested shop someon here will know.

Paulroad is so right... ask anyone who will tell you the truth at a dealership and they will tell you the profit is in service and parts. The dealer can do some things better than anyone else, but for the vast majority of vehicle maintenance, a reputable local shop that is familiar with your car brand will do just as well as the dealer for far less. I do strongly suggest keeping all service records, first for your own reference, and second as a record if you sell your car.
