Default My wife out-earns me so she pretty much drives whatever she wants

She just bought herself a new Jetta GLI though which will become her commuter car so she will have less reason to want to drive the "old" 2001 allroad.

Default Same here...

She has a 99 VW Cabrio and a 99 Porsche Boxter. The Boxter is fun but sure can't drive it like my AR, especially in wet.

Default She only asks to use it when she needs more room than her A4 provides. In these special cases I...

usually say "OK".

Seeing that it's her car, no. Kidding...I drive the A4 and the Boxster S. She drives the AR.

Default Here is my story...

I drove the S4 and she drove the Jeep. We traded in the S4 for the Allroad, and all of the sudden, the Allroad is "her" daily driver...what the hell?

Oh yeah, the Jeep goes into the third stall later this year whenever my RS6 shows up.

It is kind of a win/lose/win situation...but right now it kind of sucks...going from the S4 to the Wrangler is a significant difference!

Default She used to - but not since the performance mods went on.

She's not comfortable with the extra power.

Should have listened to her and gotten the 6-spd. When my lease runs out next year, we'll seriously consider an '04 6-spd ar, or that new 6-spd high performance Volvo wagon, or ????.

Default I usually ride my bike to work! So she has her pick and it's usually the AR....

Unless she needs more room for plants or kids then it's the massive Eurovan. She loves driving both!
