Or, and I hate to say this, you still have a problem and your moving everything around temporarily removed the short.

Good luck, I hope it's just as you said, that the bad battery somehow confused the relay, but that would not cause the fuse to blow, would it?

Well, I thought about it and all the things that were "hosed" (tech term) - interior lights, sunroof, windows - are all things that work AFTER the ingition key is removed. So it stands to reason that the Central Locking Control Module was hosed (and by hosed meaning either fried or not fried, but clearly not working as intended).

So the reset worked and no, I don't think that I'm completely out of the woods. However, I went through and tested every electrical component individually, and in some logically combinations, so I'm comfortable letting my wife drive the car while I'm out of town. If that module does end up going Tango Uniform, it means some inconvenience, not being stranded.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

So is there a safe way to jump an AR??
