Hello everyone, I recently lost and purchased a new 2nd key with remote and will like to know if anyone has programed one before using VagCom? My AR is an 05 and I tried a procedure that involves mechanically unlocking the door with the spare for 10sec then pressing the remote's unlock button once but it did not work. Later I discovered that I need to do it using VagCom which I have. I tried RossTech's instructions but it did not work either. Audi wants $129 to program which I refuse to pay, considering the price I already payed them. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance.

You need audi to program your immobilizer. You can program the remote yourself.
