It looked great, the car color was Ebony Pearl - you couldn't even tell it was there, unless you looked at the edges of the bumper. It covered the whole top of the bumper. I fish a lot, and sit on the bumper with dirty waders - perfect.
I think it was an extra $16 when I did tint/clearbra.

Just ignore the bumper. If/when it gets scratched up over years of use just chalk it up to general wear. The bumper can be repainted at any point in the future if you need to restore the car for show purposes or for a future sale.
Maybe this isn't what you were thinking, but I have used this strategy sucessfully for over 3.5 years.
Enjoy.

Here's another pragmatic idea. $12 of clear tape to protect the most heavily used portion of the bumper.
A whole lot cheaper and easier than having a bumper repainted...which I wouldn't do for some scratches.

Fear of scratches are for show queens. Clearbra is like plastic furniture covers.
If you simply can't bear to see it age, preserve it.
I'd rather use it. I could see bringing a blanket. I won't clearbra my '04.
