My fiance' always leaves her seat heater on and I constantly have to reminder her to turn it off. Is it bad to leave them on all the time? Will they constantly heat the seat if you leave it on and turn off your allroad? I hate to keep nagging her about it.

I could have sworn that I read in the manual somewhere that they were activated by pressure and that it gave the weight required to activate. I leave the driver's side on all the time, but my passenger's side is the one that went out and had to be fixed recently.

I was leaving work late and it was chilly (40F) outside, turned off the heater and turned up the passenger seat heater to "6" (no one sitting in it). It did get warm, so it isn't weight activiated. (I didn't check the back seats.)
They do turn off with the ignition... and if someone was riding over there all the time and had it on it would have the same usage.
so... in my view isn't a big deal, just pretend she's always riding with you.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
