Default Question for the experts: the numbers below are from ETKA; does the first number after the

part description indicate the amount of gear teeth on the pinion and Crown wheel (37/9 = 37 on the Crown and 9 on the pinion?) TIA!

Been comparing all the other parts in the allroad and S4 rear diff - these are the only parts the show a difference, the rest is identical (roller bearings, washers, internal pinion set and so on)


Rear diff S4 numbers:

(2) 01H525143
pinion and crown wheel / 37/9 / DAK,DQA
2 01H525143A
pinion and crown wheel / 35/9 / DAJ
(2) 01H525143B
pinion and crown wheel / 41/9 / CKK
(2) 01H525143C
pinion and crown wheel / 37/10 / DRL


allroad diff numbers:

2 01R525143N
pinion and crown wheel / 34/7 / ENY,GKH
(2) 01R525143AC
pinion and crown wheel / 35/9 / FCE
(2) 01R525143L
pinion and crown wheel / 35/8 / ENX

Default Should be..

98% sure... when you divide the first # by the 2nd you get the gear ratio
37 divided by 9 equals 4.11

And 35/8 is 4.375 allroad manual gearset.
