Default Radar detectors
New to this - but I see that there are many radar detectors recommended on the market. Is there an overall winner that anyone can recommend. And has anyone had experience with the Escort Cordless Solo S2 Radar/Laser Detector

current issue of European Car has a nice test on the 3 best...Red car on the front cover (Ferrari?)

Default ^^^ must have remote display too, the directonal arrows really make a difference
Still waiting almost a month from lis4 to send a modded one back to me .....

Default Anything but the Valentine one. With it, I pick up cops too early...
and it really tries my patience. "How far away could this guy be?" My next radar detector's going to be an inferior brand.

I did a lot of research on this a few years ago and picked the V1. Am VERY happy with it. Love the directional arrows. Very high quality, and worth the money. You'll see a ton of opinions on detectors on the web, but I think you can't go wrong with the V1.

Default I have a beltronics and it does the job. Only short coming is with laser.
I am running into more lasers on the HW and have on the wish list a laser jammer..

Default Do the jammers actually work now?
as of 5 years ago, real life testing showed they didn't work and in some cases expanded the radars reach
