Default Radio code - Please advise

So this weekend I decided to do a bit of work on the allroad and give it a bit of attention that it needed. I gave it a nice wash and detail. I also decided to do a little detail under the hood I noticed my battery had a bit of corrosion starting so I disconnected it to clean it all off and reinstalled it. Sure enough when I was going for a test drive I turned on the radio to find it won't work without the code... I don't have it..The little card with the code Number was removed from the manual like it says to do... So I called the dealer to find out that I need to bring the car in so the radio can be removed and scanned (to a satellite...) all because I don't have the code...? I can't just call AOA and give them my VIN???I need to schedule an appointment, drop the car off and pick it up later that day just to get a radio code?

Please tell me there's another way?! I don't want to rant and bitch here, but I've owned Land Rovers that only needed a simple phone call to LRNA to give them a VIN and a code was given to me... Sorry, it's just a bit frustrating...

BTW, I bought this car used so I have no idea where the code is.

Default Try mine, 1090, best I can do. Some people claim # is wrote in spare tire wheel well, but I can

verify that mine wasn't.(I'm thinking that maybe a # that matches their radio # is back there, but not for everyone. There is a crap pile on 4 digit #s back there)

Default long shot, but try looking under your spare

new cars comes with two stickers that the tech sticks on the radio card. The original tech for my vehicle left one of the stickers underneith the spare.

Default Take radio out & perhaps someone wrote it on there someplace... but if not you will need the..

serial number on the radio istself along with your Vin # and the (service) dealer should get back to you with the Code. This is how I've received my radio code for my last three Audi's. Also if your audi dealer doesn't want to help call another Audi dealer! Someone will help. Good luck.

Default spare tire well....

its a s sticky paper printout from a 4" wide printer, Dot Matrix style printing with lots of stuff printed. The largest set of numbers 4 digits is the code for the radio. You should find is on the 4 o'clock position of the well's wall.

Default Re: spare tire well....Found it ;)

But now I can't get past the SAFE screen. I tried 2 codes earlier (6PM) and I know you have to wait an hour... But it's obviously been more than that... Hmmmm

I'll try again later and post my results.

Thanks everyone for all for your help!
