My radio appears to be locked in safe mode, but does not display the word "safe" when I depress the two buttons that should allow me to enter my code. In fact, nothing happens when I press the buttons, the radio continues to glow red and that is all. Could a fuse be blown?

Also, what causes the radio to lock? Nothing out of the ordinary has happened in the last few days.

its not in SAFE f it doesn't say safe.

Pull out the radio and remove the fuse on the rear and check it then put it or a new one back.

Same with the fuese box fuse.

Try again.
