Were they harder to put on than the fronts ? (which I thought were easy)

I like the newer clips with bolts; on the fronts of mine there are just 2 press clips from the 2005 batch I guess. Is there space for a forth clip at the tops? They didn't call for it, eh?

So, worth the $10 or no? Jebus, your felt liner looks new in one shot too ! Looking good !

these were a little harder than the fronts, taking the wheel off is definitely the way to go, didn't do that with the fronts and it was way harder
i almost didn't put those clips w/bolts on, but decided with how rough winter can be and the snow, i better
there is a spot for a 4th bracket at the top clip, but there wasn't one in the box, i bet you could go to the stealer and order them

Thanks for your awesome and very helpful information!
Looks harder to install it than my first impression.
However anyway it can do it myself, and can skip to install some screws looks overplus.
Now im realy curious about shipping cost to Japan.
Thanks.

Sure!
At first will try to install rear flaps without removing wheels by using small tools made in Japan.
Impossible?

My car came with the mud flaps already installed. I took them off to install my hitch and it only took 5 minutes each to take them off. I did it with the wheels on but it would be much easier and faster with the wheels off.

Can you not run rear mudflaps with a hitch on an allroad ?

I had installed my fronts w/o R&R the wheels, but it was easy since you can turn the wheels ! The minute of so it takes to take the rear wheels off is prolly well worth the trouble.

My wife doesn't want the rears now, she says it will collect the snow which I guess it does...there's no arguing with this woman.

The rear mudflaps have nothing to do with the hitch, but they block some of the screws that need to be taken out in order to remove the rear bumper cover.

I actually never did put my rear mud flaps back on. They do collect a lot of snow, especially with the larger diameter Geolandar tires I use in the winter.
