Default Recall notice: O2 sensor replacement?

Anyone else get this? Did search and only found recall notices for ignition coils and jamming wiper blade.

Says faulty 02 sensors evident in most 2.7t engines. Anyone get this fixed? Anyone know anything about this? My CEL has not come on, but I have noticed an increase in my fuel consumption.

Default got same notice

called dealer the other day to ask about it. they said no rush to bring car in. i will have it replaced at 10k service in about a month. havent had my cel come on and have been getting about average fuel consumption.
curious to see if when replaced fuel consumption is better.
have noticed that on cold days when i start the car and let it warm up the exhaust tends to smell a bit "rich". wonder if this is related?

Default Haven't gotten the letter but

called my service tech when I first read about it on this board a couple weeks ago. He said they didn't have the parts for it yet, and that unless my CEL light was coming on, to just wait until the next service interval (20k for me). My avg MPG seems pretty good at 19.6 mixed driving, so I'm not really concerned about it even though my VIN is on the recall. I'll be hitting 20k in a month or so at which point it'll get done.

Default mine tends to run rich as well when cold....

could have something to do with the O2 sensor. I am at 11k miles, and still would like to have the O2 replaced (no CEL yet). Still, if it is affecting the fuel consumption the slightest, I want it fixed. Also, I don't want to be a gross poluter!

Default Mine is at the dealer today for the sensor replacement.

Got the notice a couple of weeks ago and dealer scheduled an appointment after I got around to calling them last week.

Is this limited to '03's? I have not received a notice, but have had a significant drop in ave. mpg

Default Had my ar in for this recall just last week.

Audi service had reprogram my ecu (as per the recall letter). They didn't have the new O2 sensors yet, but told me not to worry since I did'nt have the CEL on.
Right off my butt dyno it seems the car had a bit more prep and my mpg seems to gain about 1 whole mile. On the whole this was a good recall plus they will wash your car as well.

Default Got my notice last week and called the dealer

but they won't have the parts in until the end of the month and were just taking people's names and numbers. What a load of cr*p.

AoA, New Country might sell more Audis than any other shop in the world, but the place just leaves something to be desired.
