Default Reinstalling Dahlback - how does the chip mount?

Hello,

I have a 2.7 04 AR. I had the tuner remove the cihp when I had a bad EC and didn't want Audi to find the chip. I wouldn't mind paying them to put it back in, except they're simply not convenient to drive to (Concord NH from Boston). I tried to have a local place put it back in, but we couldn't figure out how on earth the chip even mounts!

Any ideas?

Default the chip has 70 pins to solder... on a socket with room for 74 (IIRC)

I had mine removed and the stock put back....wrong.. and the ECU fried.

Are you sure you want to try this at home?

Default Save some headaches, I would suggest that you call DBR_USA ((908) 232-5777) and ask

for Danny; explain the situation and send him the Chip + ECU, he also has the capability to test it before you install the thing...play it safe.....or have your tuner call him......

Paulroad, it is a 44 pin AMD chip....just an FIY :-)
