Removing rubberized coating from interior door pulls???

Removing rubberized coating from interior door pulls???

Its falling off from some spots--any easy way to remove it all--some kinda solvent??--I am out of warrranty and would just like to remove the remaining coating--can I just pry off the plastic covers??
