Default replace battery

Hello - I am looking to place the main battery in my '02 allroad. Can anyone provide instructions on how to replace it: it seems that the cover for the wiper blade drive does not allow the battery to be replaced easily (and this cover does not come off easy). Also does anyone have any recommendations for a replacement battery? Lastly, anything I need to worry about when replacing the battery (in some threads I noticed comments about needing to have codes re-set etc.). Thanks for your help!

Default The cover is very easy to remove - just remove the weatherstripping. The code to the radio is not

needed since it is the symphony II.

I have removed the battery cover and the bracket that holds down the battery, but I still can not remove it as it seems there is not enough space between the wiper drive cover and the wall between the battery compartment and engine compartment? I can not lift the battery up (bumping into wiper cover) and also can not tilt it forward (bumping into wall). Help?
