I have no other experiences with other programs, so this is subjective on my limited knowledge of chip programs.
I was very impressed with the amount of torque gain, and for that matter horsepower as well. I did feel some surging in the program though. I don't know if that was engine related or the transmission trying to find the right shift points.
The dealer told me I was the first allroad they had done with their dipp though after they had been trialing one for 6 months so I don't know if they were still tweaking it. At the end of the 5 hr. trial the program is suppose to revert back to stock. When it did I noticed the hp and torque were pretty much stock but my gas mileage was down about 3 mpg and it was running real rich, so much so I was getting a lot of unburned fuel mixture coming out of my tailpipes. I did take it into the dealer and he had to dipp it back to stock mode himself, so something didn't work completely right after the 5 hr. trial was up.
overall it was a learning experience for me, and I can't wait till I'm dipped. I've read so many posts where people have done chips and they've talked about the performance gains, but until you finally do it, it's hard to fathom how much hp/torqe gain there is.
