Default ride height? newbie to ar, I find myself driving in lowest position which if I ....

understand from the manual deactivates the auto level function. Where do those of you with experience set your level for most driving. Shoud I leave it at 2 and just let it do its thing? TIA

Set it to manual mode and you can do what ever you feel like (Indicator light stays on).

Default Re: Prefer level 3 for entering and exiting vehicle.

Ride seems to be a bit firmer and is always adjusting depending on traffic and speed. Trying to get used to level 2. Level 1 is too low for me.

Default I adjust for conditions. 1 for smooth-roads/curves/speed, 2 for bumpy roads, 3 for bumpier roads...

There is no auto vs manual mode (03).

If in 4, and you exceed 23mph, you drop to 3, with no auto return to 4.

If in 3, and you exceed 50mph, you drop to 2, with auto return to 3 if you slow down for some period of time.

If in 2, and you exceed 93mph, you drop to 1, with auto return to 2 if you slow (way) down for some period of time.

If in 1, nothing automatically happens.

There's a trend to how the auto functions work... =)

Default I like #1 all the time, with a #2 on ruf or gravel, Use 3/4 to get unstuck from snow burms because

I was in 1 or 2.

Default On this same topic, did Audi change the button layout for 03?

I don't have a "manual" option. Just two buttons, 1 for up and 1 for down, and the ride height indicator.

Default Doesn't the auto adjustment go from 2 to 1 at 80mph, not 93?

I have an '02, is it different in the '03?

I believe, 80 for 2001 and 93 for 2002 & up
