I post a picture of my set up claiming nothing other than it works for me and you tear into it. You could have used the accepted method of stating your preference but you chose a more confrontational tone. I merely pointed out the error of your arguement.
And then you are modest enough to make ill founded claims based on
"I would consider my experience with all types of biking (and racking) at the guru level"
I guess its pretty easy to one up a self proclaimed 'guru'.
From your picture it seems that you have a problem with fasteners. May I suggest that haste makes waste. Chill out and enjoy riding and transporting your bike your way.
