I can see that the LowRiders have much less height, which is good, but do they attach to the audi rack the same way?

I hate the way I have to turn the lever on the DoubleCross what seems like a hundred times each time I want to go on/off (x4 towers).

I wish they were easier to put on and off as I only install my rack when I am carrying something.

See me post above about my disappointment with the hassle to install/de-install the DoubleCross towers. I am looking for a better system.

You just twist the latch a few times... I never take 'em off so don't really remember.

So, how many different kinds of racks fit the allroad??? I was led to beleive that only the Audi brand one fit. I wouldn't mind having a little extra room for stuff, particularly since I'm trying to convince my wife that we can camp in the allroad and get rid of our GMC pickup truck.

fitment is actually pretty generic since the rack just clamps to the roof rails.
