Default I've never gotten more than 15,000 miles out of a set of 18" tires yet....

First set of F1 GS-D3- 8500 miles (bad rear alignment)
Second set- 12,000 miles
Third set XL version- took off at 3000 miles but they had already worn 25%.

Let's see if the Toyos do better.

Default Thoughts on Pilot Sport A/S...

Granted my experience is in 16 & 17" on my A6 and both 225/55 and 245/50-17 on the allroad. In every case, I had a rear pull to the right (both cars). Then I found out about a service bulletin that Mercedes published to it's dealers to NOT use the Pilot Sport A/S on any C or E-class Benzes because of a rear pull.

I know others here have great luck with them. I think after talking to Michelin engineers that that the tire is extremely sensitive to correct alignment. And they don't like a lot of negative camber. Unfortunately our cars call for a fair amount of neg camber in the rear, and the front can't be adjusted.
