Folks - ive seens posts about this but have not been able to figure out if the S6 chrome mirrors will fit on an 03 Allroad - the frames, windows and doors are the same on both cars - I dont know if the S6 mirrors fold like the allroads do.

Rumor has it that the folks at Brookline Audi (MA) saw another allroad come in with chrome mirrors - is that anyone on this forum?

They would work I'm sure but they are smaller (sportier) I want my big mirrors but want alum!!

To answer your question, yes, the S6 mirror do have the power retract, autodim, heated, et. all.

Id like the big mirrors too - on the other hand I wonder if the mirrors are convex ont he S6 so as to give the same viewing angle. The allroad mirrors have a pretty small angle of view because they are tall and short (not wide) - same problem I had on my 95.5 S6 - I took a look in the forums and found some mentions of a German supplier that has chrome allroad mirrors so I will look into it
